The Brian Perry Charitable Trust develops strong partnerships with like-minded organisations with the purpose of making a meaningful contribution towards a vibrant Waikato region.

In 1976 a charitable trust was established and more than 40 years later, the Brian Perry Charitable Trust continues on its vision of Building Stronger Communities.

The Brian Perry Charitable Trusts’ contribution to Waikato features a history of developing strong partnerships to collaborate on, lead and support significant projects that provide important facilities and amenities for the region.

Perry Group is pleased to be partnering with PPD TAL to deliver Te Awa Lakes.

The shareholders of PPD TAL, Pat Peoples and Mark Dawbin, are also shareholders of Schick Civil Construction, which has been awarded the civils contract for the Te Awa Lakes development. This follows a comprehensive early contractor involvement process over the two years prior to the commencement of stage one.

Schick Civil Construction is a well-known Waikato-based company that is a leader in the New Zealand civil construction market. They specialise in residential subdivisions, roading infrastructure, commercial and industrial developments, Three Waters, drainage, and other civil related projects.

Schick Civil is also part of the broader Schick Group of Companies, which has developed significantly since Pat Peoples acquired the original business, Schick Cartage and Construction, in 2003. The Group now has over 400 employees across a range of civil related businesses operating throughout New Zealand.
